Unexpected phone call this morning informing us that Trixie had gone 'into liquidation' but as the call was from an unexpected source we didn't really believe it. Rang Trixie up and the phones were all going to answer machine, very unlike them and then an email from Pet Business World confirming that the 'Trixie Uk has gone into administration with all staff being made redundant'. The UK arm of the company was independant of the main Trixie Germany company which is now actively seeking a distributor in the UK.
Sad to see a company we have dealt with for many years no longer trading and sympathys are with the staff who have been made redundant, especially Ed.
